So maybe without climate change the viruses wouldn’t have reached pandemic scale, but to say that the viruses wouldn’t have affected humans is false.          <description><![CDATA[<div> I disagree that there has been much affect over the last 100 years but do believe that if climate change continues at the current rate or increase we will definitely be seeming more and more issues with viruses, disease of all sorts, and overall lack of general health in worldwide populations. The primary reasoning for this statement is decreasing fresh (clean) water supplies and air pollution  directly related to both the use of fossil fuels and also the exasperated by global warming trends. </div>]]></description>

         <title>I think they still would have affected humans but perhaps to a lesser degree.  A more concerning factor may be the somewhat newfound mobility of humans.  We can travel anywhere in a matter of hours introducing a virus to places everywhere.</title>

         <title>I think that the two are linked but not warming isn&#39;t the cause of the increase.  Maybe as populations rise and people live closer the diseases spread more easily, and also as populations rise more resources are utilized that cause increases in temperature.  </title>
