Shaun Of The Dead follows the story of Shaun a worker at an electronics store who lives a boring life where all he does is go to the pub to drink, play video games, and go to work. Then one day everything changes when the world gets infected with a zombie virus he protects his girlfriend and tries to protect his other friends and family.
Some of the examples of satire in this movie would be the fact that at the start of the movie, all the characters act like zombies in real life, and keeping people who have already turned into or have been bitten with them.

I believe that Shaun Of The Dead does not apply to the satire paradox as the meaning behind the satirization is not that hard to find and only really has one meaning.

According to the video, the satire paradox is how when interpreting satire it can have a different meaning depending on the person which is different than interpreting something that is said straightforward because it only has one meaning However, in the video, they said that this ability to have different interpretations is exactly what makes it humorous.

Malcolm Gladwell's take on satire is that it has the ability to hide meanings behind things like humor, exaggeration, etc.

This comic strip is from Matt Bors, It is satirizing the issue of loosening gun laws following mass shootings in the United States. This satire comic follows Malcolm Gladwell's idea of satire as it uses humor to break through the reader's defenses and deliver a political issue. Though the comic may make a good point it can easily be forgotten due to its form of media.

This comic depicts a young girl throwing away her old phone into a bucket full of old phones and texting her friends that she got a new phone. This satirizes the fact that people nowadays will throw out their old items such as clothes or cell phones once they get new ones. This uses Malcolm Gladwell's depiction of satire because it hides a societal problem behind the exaggeration of having a box full of old phones.
