This is obviously the theme song for the GhostBusters. We believe that the red flag for this would have to be appeal to authority. We say this because how famous the movie and the actors are in the movie like Bill Murray. Also the song is very catchy and how can you not jam out to it. The fame of the movie and the actors makes people believe in ghosts.

In this article, the author write about an interview with someone on the reasons for why people believe in ghosts. The list includes: our brains are wired, it's related to belief in life after death, and that some seek the thrill in it. We believe that there is some confirmation bias being put on display. The people who answered are giving their own opinions on the topic. As well, there is a bit of proof by verbosity, they used numbers from and said results. We do believe however, that they do have valid points, we both believe in ghosts, we both think that the paranormal is cool, so why not believe.

In this video you will see multiple ghosts sightings that will look very real. Don`t let your eyes deceive you as they can be very real or very made up. This video is a sign of a Red Herring. We believe this because the video focuses on what you see and making you believe that it is real. There is not factional evidence to support that it is real or to give you a different perspective on the video, just the idea that seeing in believing.

In this article, the author suggests reason for why people believe in ghost as well as tell stories. We feel that this article has some facts but at the same time doesn't. We found a couple red flags, they are: proof by verbosity and ideological support. For proof by verbosity, the author is discussing too many stories, it would be easier to have told a few to get their point across. As well, for ideological support, the author mentions that a study found that "52% of Brits believe in ghosts", we feel that it was a quick study done. We both felt that some of the stories were too far fetched, but we believe that some happened, it's hard to say but we both feel that the author try to intrigue her readers more, which led to some of the stories being too far fetched.

The video is about a youtube group called "Inform Overload". They do reviews on episodes of the TV show "Ghost Hunters". In this review they talk about how the hunters find a ghost using weird tools. This is a sign of the red flag called ideological support. In this they focus on the fact that they their using the drama from the show and all of the controversies to mask the silliness of the tools they use to find the ghosts. Which is what is explained in the video.

This is an image of Casper the Friendly Ghost. Casper the Friendly Ghost was a cartoon, and a movie. It was a popular idea back when it first came out. The red flag for this would be confirmation bias. We say this because its the idea that Casper was a friendly ghost instead of a bad one. Back in the day when this first released ghost weren't really known except for the fact that they weren't at all friendly. So you can see how Casper being released could mess with peoples beliefs and confuse them into thinking that some ghost are good and some are bad.

For this image, well it's Pac-Man, this is one of the most popular arcade games in history. We feel that this image's red flag is trying to appeal to authority. We feel that way because we think that this arcade game changed the idea of how some people viewed ghosts. Instead of viewing ghosts in scary sense, the creators turned ghosts into something fun for everyone, many people spent a lot of time trying to get high scores as well. This game also showed that at some points the ghosts were scared. When we saw this image we applied critical thinking in the sense of what we took out of this game.

In the photo you can clearly see faded objects that look like women in white dresses. This image is also not that serious, in other words it looks very fake. Boasting the question are ghost pictures real or is it just someone photoshoping an image to make it look real.

Haunted Places in France

In this article, the author is providing us with his list of the 4 most haunted places in France. We believe that there are two red flags in this article, and they are: red herrings and Confirmation Bias. For red herring, we found the simple answer, the author was talking more about these places as travel destination than the reasons why they're deemed to be haunted. The Palais of Versailles is already a big tourist destination. For confirmation bias, we feel that the author was expressing his thoughts on the subject and hoping that people would bite at it and agree with him. We feel that these landmarks can be haunted especially the catacombs but, we feel that this article was more about attracting people to these tourist destinations in France.
