I can the ethics of getting started to help me with my act score as well as taking breaks in my learning to help me with my academic progress. The second video I watched ( “How to Learn Faster”) explained how to learn faster using various methods that could improve brain function. For instance you need to be hydrated, take breaks, use pen and paper, and modify the way you are learning slightly. All in all, there are many ways to learn material or an exercise faster if you apply methodical practices to your learning to increase brain function, which in turn helps you learn “things” faster.

I think that simply getting started on your task can help improve your scoring because if you don't try, you never know if you will succeed. Also writing done what you have finished and giving yourself a deadline can help give you motivation to finish what you have started. Also you can track your progress. The second video that I watched was "The 9 best Scientific study tips." The video explains how it is better to study in small chunks, rather than taking on the full task at once. It also explains how highlighting certain details in a book takes your focus off of the task you wish to complete. On the other hand, things like flash cards, listening to music while studying, and other strategies can help you to retain information overall.

What I can do to get a better score on my ACT is practice not necessarily longer but practice more deliberately. If I really focus on the one or two things that I struggle with when it comes to the ACT, then I will be better prepared and score higher. The second thing I could do to help me score better on the ACT is to create a "Tomarrow Action Plan." I could plan out exactly what I wanted to work on the next day, wake up, see the list, and get started. The second video I watched was "How to Break a Bad Habit." Basically in order to break a habit you have to first make note of what the cue is that sets of your habit. Secondly, you have to figure out what reward you receive from doing your habit. They you find something to do that replaces your bad habit, but results in the same reward. Gradually you will be able to replace your bad habit with something else.

I could use these two things later on in life by making sure I am organized and that I use my time wisely especially when studying for the ACT and other test/projects. The second video I chose to watch was a video about how to learn things faster. It mainly talked about different ways to study and restore information in the brain. It also talked about the different test that scientists constructed to find which method would be better when remembering information.

The "Science Of Productivity' videos helped me out a lot. One way I can help myself when I am achieving my academic goals, is to just simply apply what I have learned from the video and put it to good use. Also, another way of using these videos to help achieve my goals is to just practice these ideas into my work. I thoroughly believe that the second video I've watched could ultimately get where I need to be in school. The whole video explained how to make good grades in school by using nine helpful studying tips. These tips also gave thorough details of why they can be so helpful. Examples of this where using studies from different universities and behaviors of the students when taking test and exams.

The video explained many different ways to study, including listening to classical music or no music at all. Some other tips were to study in small chunks instead of long extensive study sessions. Also you should not pull all nighters to study. This typically leads to lower test scores.

The second method being taking increment of time to do the work with breaks as well, therefore this method could be directed towards projects or simply studying for the ACT or other tests.

In the second video that I watched, "How Much Sleep Do You Actually Need?" it first shows a study of how long three people each slept. The person who slept the most amount of time had normal brain functions while the others who slept shorter had more and more issues as the time was shorter. The video eventually concluded that the overall time of how long is healthy for yourself to sleep is ultimately your own brain's decision.

I always get things done on time, but not as soon as I would like. Another tip mentioned to help with this would be to create a deadline, this would force me to get active and start the project.

As for the other video I watched, I learned to pro's and con's of night owls and early birds. I tend to get the best work done in the morning, but am not very good at getting up early. One way that would help me improve my working skills, is to not think about how hard the work might be to you, or how you really don't want to do it, and to actually start the work. Starting it, rather than thinking about it would help me a ton because I would be getting all of the work over with and done for, rater tha thinking about it forever.

In the second video it talks about a gives you helpful tips to study, such as to listen to classical music, study small chunks rather than long sections at a time, and to not pull all nighters to study, you might have a possibility of not remembering what you've studied, and it might also lower your test scores.

The reason why i say this is for you to know what you need to do and have a motivation to finish what you started so that you can finish your list.

In the second video Classical music would help because for me it would calm my nerves about it so that you could raise your test scores. Short breaks would also help so that your not so tired from doing it all at once that you can't think straight and so you can remember what you have learned and studied.

“The science of productivity” is a video that illustrates how we can improve our Act score while meeting our academic goals. Being productive means having a task and starting on it right away, but you can also adjust your productivity with timed breaks which give your brain time to rest enough so you can your complete assignments. “The Science of Motivation” is the second video I watched in which contain information about how we are more motivated to complete a task if we enjoy it. It explains how our work efforts decrease when we’re not engaged in the task because we’re worried about a prize or not getting a prize. Motivation is about wanting to do something based on our ability to know we can do it rather than just doing it to get something out of it.

Ways to help me be more productive while getting my academic work done. Two ways that help me personally the most are writing down a list in order of the things I need to get done that day or for the week. This will help me by getting rid of all the anxiety of not knowing exactly what to do next, having everything out of order or not getting everything I need to do done makes me very anxious. By getting anxious it makes it harder to do what needs to be done. Second, I could make a deadline, the deadline will force me to get done with the tasks that I need to do. By doing this I could get more done during the week because I will be forcing myself to get things done on time, I will possibly have more time to do what I want to do. I could get done with everything early and have more free time. With doing these two ways I could have less anxiety, get things done in time, have more free time, and just be a happier person without stressing over things I need to do.

Studying can be a tough process to do, I struggle a lot because I have ADD, I get distracted very easily and pretty much forget everything I studied because I stay up looking at my notes because I can’t concentrate. So the video I watched gave me very helpful advice in what to do. First I could study in smaller sections, instead of studying in large amounts I could look at smaller sections, allowing my brain process everything. Second I could take small breaks, your brain needs to rest or it won’t take in everything you are trying to put into it, taking breaks will let my brain refresh so I can remember everything I studied. Last but not least, stop pulling all nighters, I struggle with this but with the work of the other two ways to help me I could accomplish studying in a good amount of time, allowing me to have a good nights rest and still get all my studies done. The video helped me a lot, I realize now what will help me and what I was doing wrong, now from this point forward I know exactly what to do to help me study.

And not thinking about how hard it'll be to complete because then i'll be less motivated to do it. These would be my best options because if I can look at what I have to do & know when I need to get it done that'll organize me more, I'll be less likely to forget anything, & I should be able to get it done in a timely manner. Doing something you like is more important in your goals since you will mostly likely stick with it and you blind optimism in some always the best mindset.
