This quote got me thinking about what it is I like about my fav presenters (James Baldwin, Carl Sagan, Christopher Hitchens, etc.) and there seems to be a bit of a common thread. This quote highlights what I think it is that I enjoy about their style. They know how to be intellectual, but infuse it with emotion. Carl Sagan is a master at this. He will highlight a fact, such as photosynthesis, and then say something like "in order words this is a mouth to stoma resuscitation. A world wide mouth to mouth".
