         <title>1 L2 - Retention is 100%- probably 100% success</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Ex Dip 100% retention - probably 100% success<br>Dip&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;95% retention<br>more extensive use of calms team<br>cm calls to chase up attendance.<br>Attendance issues also followed up by personal tutors.<br>Attendance is between 85-88%&nbsp; for all courses but due to persistent offenders<br>Additional 3 hours per level 3 course has allowed staff to set pass tasks in lesson time and allow learners to focus on higher grades outside of lessons.&nbsp;<br>Application for work experience was done in induction which has allowed learners looking for experience in the medical field to gain possible places.<br>Excellent enrichment at Wton University.<br>Past students sharing success with tutors after having completed uni and found jobs or carrying on their education . e.g former learner inspired to become science teacher and is undertaking her PGCE<br>Excellent feedback from OSTEAD&nbsp;<br>Improved level 2 exam results<br><br>2&nbsp; Ability and commitment to the course of some level 2 and 3 learners leaves a lot to be desired.&nbsp;<br>Learners poor English and maths skills hampering progress and high grades. Vast amount of level 3 learners have still not got GCSE maths or english.&nbsp;<br>Punctuality a major issue. Red card is not working for some learners who are persistently late and don't see any consequences to their actions.<br><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>
