The Boston Massacre was a fight between the British and the Bostonians that escalated into a bigger problem. They hated the British soldiers and called them "Lobsters" because of their red uniforms. The British were told not to fire at the people which made the Bostonians bold in their actions so they began throwing rocks and big pieces of ice at the soldiers. This caused them to open fire, killing 5 people and leaving many injured.
