I don't often know how to get emotional with words, I usually just take the Coqui strategy of getting through tough times with fun and jokes. But what I do know, Coqui, is that you are an incredible person. I've never seen anyone with as much passion for what they do, or as much love for the people around them as you, and I don't think I ever will. You've kept going through so much this year already, and I know this won't stop you either! You've given me more laughter and smiles through my own tough times than I could ever deserve to ask for, you've inspired a creativity in me I've never had before, and you've helped me come out of my shell and stop living my life alone. Hey Coqui, I know this was really tough on you, so I hope you get to feeling a little better after some rest. We're all here to support you and we're not going anywhere, so take the steps you need to heal up and don't worry about us, we're here for you and there's nothing you can do about it.

Nodules aren't my area, but let me just tell you as someone with non-silent reflux who also loves spicy food, that the restrictions aren't as bad as they seem. You should follow them pretty strictly for a while, but the good news is that once you have the condition under control, and your throat has healed up, you can go back to eating all the things you love, just a little more carefully. My local Chinese place has a dish that's made of diced chicken thighs coated in enough spice to form a bark on each piece and served on a bed of chilis and garlic. It is spicy as all fuck and it's everything you shouldn't eat with reflux. In theory that stuff should tear a big cartoon hole in my stomach, but I can still eat it just by being careful I haven't had too much acid or spicy food recently and it's harmless. So don't feel trapped, don't feel like you've had everything you like to eat taken away forever, because that's not how it works. Cut the stuff out for now and, once your throat isn't so raw, just being aware of your acid and spice intake will work miracles for you and you can have all your favorites again.

I'm glad to see you taking care of yourself. No one's ever kicked a nodule's ass as hard as you're about to kick this one.

I found Coqui and the rest of 3AM around a year ago, and you are always so great at welcoming people in and being great at entertaining and having fun. So much so that Coqui made it to my Twitch top 5 for 2023 even though I started watching her towards the end of the year. You know, I'm not gonna be the guy doin "Get well soon", I'm gonna be the guy sayin "You got this shit" I know how hard this all is, we talked about it a bit last night. But ya know, you bring joy to people's lives. Hell, you had me walkin on air for a week when ya called me a "friend". You are an amazing person, Coqui. You deserve the best in life. But sadly life comes from the fighting school of "Kick 'em While They're Down", that said you have friend. Be it your good friends like Meat, Oli, Callie, etc, or some of the outer fringes like me. And ya know damned well if you get down we'll put a boot up your ass to get you goin again. You are gonna be back to full time before you fucking know it though. It'll be rough to adjust at first, sure. But you will adjust just the same. Plus it's temporary as all Hell. You are gonna knock this shit out of the park. On the last padlet I said "If you're feelin down I can feel you up" well, consider it done! Well, without the touching and awkwardness. I'll ALWAYS be here to cheer you up. And when i get on your case it's never trying to "baby" you in the slightest. It's out of deep concern of having shit I truly cared for ripped away by health issues I COULDN'T recover from. So while you are sitting there wondering what the fuck to do with your free time, I'll make some suggestions. Add an Anime Night with the Coquinuts to the Game/Movie night rotations. Start building models. Start drawing more, because you are seriously a good artist. Like the possibilities are endless while still being the workaholic you are. I know you live off your voice, or it at least feels that way. But now you have a group that is so fucking loyal that you could vanish for months on end and we'd just be sittin there talking amongst each other until you got back. Hell, I'm going to bed honest, last night you NEARLY got me to sign back up to WoW, but the thought popped into my head that I wouldn't be happy not being able to compete on the levels I used to. I haven't thought about going back to WoW for 4 years, so you must be doin something right. You're always there for so many of us, it's always gonna be alright to lean on us too. Plus hey, you're smol, pretty sure even my broken ass could carry you if needed. Don't let this get you down too much, because as far as "bad news" goes, you have managed to get the bad news with the most good news in it that I've seen in a while. You have hope, nothing but hope in fact. You'll settle into the routine, you'll kick this thing's ass, and you'll be back in record time. Not that you'll ever be gone either, that's the part that I feel is missing from this WHOLE thing. You aren't going anywhere. If anything we get MORE time with you. We get to know you better away from stream. And we get to all become better friends. Honestly, Coqui. For the fact that I know it seemed like some horrid news, when you look at ALL the positives here, this might be one Hell of a blessing in disguise. It sucks that you have the issues, but in the long run you might end up with a slightly bigger friend group. And I know that's something you've never had, shit, I've never had it either. It's why when you said we were friends it had me walking on air for a fucking week. So as your friend, Coq.. You truly do have this, and I look forward to what you end up cooking to fill in the tiny gap, because I know it's going to be amazing, it always is. I'm sorry it's been such a rough year, but the next one will be better! Plenty of gaming, movies and cons ahead of us! We'll still be here at the end, and who knows? Doing the changes to doctor suggested will be a lot of work but it will be worth it to protect your voice. Don't worry about less stream time as far as losing people. I won't be going anywhere and I doubt anyone else will either. Shorter streams just means more people can catch the whole stream start to end which will be nice. I hope you remember that people find you funny and entertaining but also care about your well being and happiness so don't have any issue with you doing what you need to even if it interferes with your streaming for us.

In all seriousness, I wish you a smooth recovery. I know you're beating yourself up for this and being forced to take a step back from streaming. But just know that we coquinuts will stick by you all the way, whether you streamed every day or even just once a month.
