She took in a lot of the children in the area from babies to toddlers. This image reminded me of that time because I remeber wanting so badly to watch The Little Einsteins while I was eating my lunch but she would not let me look at the TV at all. She would yell at me if I glanced in that direction. I absolutely loved all of the grand adventures that they went on in this show. I can see now that these types of shows interested me because I love to be taken out of reality. Today, I love to watch and read fantasy and dystopian novels because I like to take myself to worlds that are not possible in real life. I found Junie B. Jones to be relatable, exciting, and easy to read for me. I loved that I could get through a lot of the series (there were tons of these books). Others include The Hunger Games, Divergent, and The 5th Wave.
