He experiences hallucinations and visions such as when he hallucinates he is talking with the pig head, the Lord of the Flies. He finds out the truth about the beast and goes down to tell Ralph, Piggie and the others what he found. Simon represents the loss of innocence as he tries to tell the others about the beast, he is mistaken for the beast and accidentally killed.

At the start of the book/movie a plane full of British boys got shot down and crash landed on a deserted island.Two young boys named Ralph and Piggy find a type of shell that they could use to call the rest of the boys.

Jack is the 'so called' king of his tribe.
during the movie jack proves to his fellow tribe that he is strong enough to be king. jack had leaded his tribe to kill the beast that is near by. jack wasn't the best king of them, all though he did try to protect his tribe from the beast from killing a pig to get its head and telling his tribe it was for the beast. jack wasn't the nicest either, he had stolen things from Ralph and piggy, like piggy's glasses. but jack is a natural leader though, which means he must have leader ship and great understanding skills on whats happening around him and tribe.

A plane crashes on a deserted island. There is a group of preteen British boys stuck there. The boys choose a leader to lead the group and be in charge. Ralph is voted leader. Jack, a natural leader, disagrees and he wants to be the leader. He separates the boys into 2 tribes. Piggy doesn't hunt for food so he often his left out hungry. Due to his weight, the buys bully Piggy and steal his glasses. There is a sighting of a beast and boys are afraid of it.n They want to find the beast and kill it. The British boys could have been saved by a passing plane, but unfortunately, miss the opportunity. Simon sees visions of the beast and when he tries to tell the other boys, they think that Simon is the beast and accidentally kill him  instead.
