It is a fun twist with a sassy main character. I read this one initally in 8th Grade and fell in love with the series. You have romance, supernatural, good vampires, bad vampires, half vampires, humans, and so much more. The main character Rose is a fierce protector of her best friend Lissa. They  both try and take on the world together. After a failed attempt to run away because of death threats, they are forced back to something even worse... SCHOOL! They struggle with bullies and the new order of students. The book sets place in a different future. It is after we land on the moon and find people living there, Lunars. It is years later and set in China. Cherry knows how to write a book. Although I have read this before, the second time was even better. There were things I missed the first time around that made since this time. Graham is numb of all feeling and Lucy cannot help but feel everything. When Graham is left with his new born daughter (because his wife abandoned him) and Lucy wants to help out. As the two polar opposites argue through parenting and how to look at life, they slowly see each other in a different light. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll be shocked as well. Great read! (Also got a tattoo because of this book... that's how good it is. Really fun story with lots of chemistry. Lance is a high school history teacher and Mariah is a Liberian at the high school. Lance flirts with her relentlessly and steals her cupcakes she brings in. Mariah pretends jes annoying, but constantly is baking his favorites to make sure she sees him every day. The book is really good and a fast read. Machlan and Hadley have a little more chaotic of a relationship. Off and on for years until something tragic happens. She moves and he let's her. Now shes back and wants to prove Mach either hates her, and then move on, or lives her and they can be together. I liked the story a lot. However I would have to say Craft is my favorite so far from this series. The girls are amazing, but the dad is a jerk. They are polar opposites in so many ways. Hes boding, cold, and barely smiles. Shes carefree, happy, and optimistic. The story was funny, sweet, and steamy.
