The Mid-Autumn Festival is an important traditional holiday in my country. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Asia as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with full moon at night. In the past, on this day the moon was brightest and roundest which represented the family reunion or gatherings. Therefore, families and friends often came together or harvested crops for the festival. Nowadays, Mid Autumn Festival is mainly for young children in Vietnam to enjoy the best time of the year. But not only can children celebrate this day but also adults can, adults who wish to have a chance to remind their their childhood and feel young again.

Last summer vacation, my family went on a trip and participated in the Water festival held by the sea. Everyone on that beach participated mostly, especially children. The festival was held with Many different games are extremely interesting for children. Adults can take on more difficult challenges. But I find this festival quite interesting and fun. If possible, when the covid-19 epidemic is over, my family will return to that place to travel. If we are lucky, we can participate in the festival again.

I used to attend the Tet Holiday Flower festival. It's called Nguyễn Huệ Flowers street Festival. It is held in Nguyễn Huệ street in district 1 , HCM city. It take place every Tet Holiday for 1 week. It is celebrated by HCM city, people's committee. They display and decorate the street with many kinds of flowers and lights. Many people come three to enjoy the betiful flowers and take picttures.

Lunar New Year also known as Tet - the biggest festival in Viet Nam. Tet is held once a year in all over country on the first day of Lunar year. A few weeks before Tet, people decorate their houses and buy new clothes for the first day of Lunar year. One or two day before this festival, people make banh chung. On New Year's Eve, the whole family goes to see firework together. On New Year's morning, young members of families pay their respects to the elders and adults give lucky monney to children. Then, people go to visit their neighbors, friends and relatives. All is great, but I don't forget to do my Tet homework.

The festival held on campus which has a large lake suitable for taking place. Wooden dragon boats are beautifully sculpted and painted in brilliant colors. There is a yellow one, a red one, and a blue one, depending on the interests of each team. The boat operators also wear special and brilliant clothes. When the flagger signals, the teams to start the race. Then the strong arms began to pull up to steer the boat forward. Quickly, the boats rushed forward. The race was extremely intense because the teams were extremely equal. But finally there was a better team and won. After that, they all smiled because this is just a game and they tried their best. In my country, spring is the best season of the year because there is a Lunar New Year holiday. This is the biggest traditional festival in Vietnam and also an opportunity for all Vietnamese to have a good time thinking about the old year and the next year. Before the first day of Tet, every family usually cleans up. Cleaning the house overview, going to the market to buy new things, buying flowers, offering New Year's Eve offerings, wrapping banh chung, welcoming New Year's Eve, etc. These are activities that help everyone in the family get closer. On Tet holiday, it is indispensable to give lucky money and go to the temple to pray for peace. Although Tet comes, people have to prepare many expensive things. But this is a very necessary activity to have a better new year.

Last year, I attended the Mid-Autumn Festival. Everyone in the world participates in this festival. Mid-Autumn Festival can be held at home with family or in the village or elsewhere. On Mid-Autumn Festival, people held a deck, looking for the moon. The moment the moon came up, children would just dance and look at the moon. In some places, people also organize unicorn dance, dragon dance, lion dance for children to enjoy. Meanwhile, in China, Mid-Autumn Festival is also known as the Lunar New Year. Mid-Autumn Festival held on September 21. The Mid-Autumn Festival is an opportunity for everyone to see the moon to predict the national crop and destiny. I enjoyed the festival so much!!!

The people of my hometown often hold Trung thu festival in August every year. Trung thu is a festival for children,On this day, everyone in the family usually gathers together to eat Trung thu cake.Children dance with dragon's head and unicorn's head to ask for money.In villages, Trung thu festival is usually held on the night of the full moon,Wait until the moon rises and then give candy to the children.All the people in the village pulled together to the place where the festival was held to watch the dragon head dance,The most beautiful sight when watching dragon head dance is the fire-breathing dragon. >_< :))) họ và tên: Nguyễn Tiến LV

I love Mid-Autumn.Thic is a sesonal and every is waiting for it. It is celebrated all over the contries in Asia on 15th day of the 8th lunar month of the autumn every year. Besides the Tet Holiday, the Mid-Autumn festival is one of the most famous festivals and it is a traditional celebration for Vietnamese children. Mid-Autumn festival is celebrated not only in Vietnam but also in some other parts of Southeast Asian countries as well, such as China, Japan or Korea. And it is often celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar. The Mid-Autumn celebration is time for members of the family to visit together and share together everything in their year. Children use the beautiful lanterns, wear funny masks, perform fantastic lion dances, sing folklore songs in the house’s grounds or in the streets when the moon is rising. On this day, the adults and the parents prepare many different foods - Moon cakes, candies, biscuits, jellies, and fruit, such as grapefruit, longan fruit, bananas, apples, mango, etc. And when speaking of Mid-Autumn, we must need the mooncake. The round shape of the moon cake signifies of the reunion of families. I really love the Mid-Autumn Festival. I hope you can enjoy them!

Tet (Lunar New Year) is the biggest festival in Vietnam to celebrate the new year. It is held from the end of January and the beginning of February (solar calendar). Before Tet, people will clean the house, decorate the house, buy new clothes and Tet sweets. On the nights close to Tet, the whole family gathers around the pot of banh chung and banh tet to talk together. Traditionally, on the night of December 30, New Year's Eve will be held to welcome the new year, from the elderly to children, everyone is looking forward to it. When the clock is at 12 o'clock at night, the sky is lit up by fireworks displays. This is a very meaningful festival of the year, everyone loves Tet because it is a time to gather with family and play together.

When the kids get a candy or a sweet they leave happily. If they don’t get a good treat they may show some tricks.
