Activity objective: By the end of the activity, students will be able to get to know each other by guessing true/false statements about themselves.

Time: 5 to 7 mins
Materials: worksheets and pencils.
Level: Elementary
Age: 9-12 years old
Procedure:

An ESL classroom staple. Write or dictate three sentences about yourself. Two statements should be true and one false, for example: I used to be an air steward I can ride a unicycle My favourite food is sushi Now invite students to discuss in pairs which statement they think is the lie. Ask each pair which statement they think is untrue and have them explain why. Reveal your answer, and ask students to come up with three sentences about themselves. I find students need quite a lot of time (at least five minutes) to come up with three ideas. If some students are still short of a sentence or two, start the game anyway, and they can finish their statements during play. Check students’ statements and then have them take it in turns to read them out to the class. In each case, the other students have to guess which is the untrue statement.

How and when a positive learning
?environment is created

One of the most important factors that must be followed to obtain a positive climate is for students to feel safe psychology before physical because when teacher said in the video"I am glad that you here with us" and.focus on the period pupils entering and leaving school because it is affect periods on accapt the place.
It must be characterized by calm,safely,verbal and physical freedom.The teacher is at the door with a greeting, a hug also used the colours , pictures, music,smells great all of that positive affect on the classroom.trying to get them to participate in deciding what to eat making them productive and that acquired members in the school developed their skills , creativity,water should be available all day, play outside in the backyard.taking into account the individual differences between them is a very important and sensitive matter.

Yes
The best teachers are those who realize that the kay to unleashing students capable in developing positive, respectful relationships with pupils starting on the first day of the school year.some teachers are natural at building positive relationships with pupils and maintaining.developing strong relationships is critical to enhancing the success of the educational process.the pupils will not respect the teacher if he does not respect them . screaming, embarrassment are a loss of respect in classroom.

Does my behaviour convey a positive expectations?
Yes of course,before the teacher starts the learning process should build up the good relationship with pupils that is creating by a good behaviour.the words,eyes,face,body language all of these related with our behaviour because children more sensitive so good and positive behaviour give good outcomes and affect on the classroom climate.behaviour is responsible for conduct to progress of the educational process in the classroom.

The Communicative Approach Communicative Language Teaching CLT Background. The communicative approach seeks to make meaningful communication and language use a focus of all classroom activities. The method came as a reaction against the grammar-based approaches such as the audiolingual method and grammartranslation methods of foreign language instruction that ignored that the goal of language learning is COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE also the origins of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) are to be found in the changes in the British language teaching tradition dating from the late 1960s. Until then, Situational Language Teaching represented the major British approach to teaching English as a foreign language. the activit (Role play ) It is a good communicative activity Beginners are typically not ready for role play. They simply lack the structure and vocabulary for it. Learners at the advanced levels are capable of free-thinking types of exercises such as debate, discussion, news reports, and reading or watching then paraphrasing. Learners at the intermediate level can benefit from the integration of structure and free-speaking – role play. Today’s lesson will be ‘eating out.’Prepare a context for your learners. For this lesson, let’s say, deciding what to eat when eating out with a friend. Now, if you’ve been using the previous sample lessons for one lesson or as modules, students will likely be warmed up for this activity.Break them into teams with a server and two friends then game on! Observe and be ready to give assistance and or feedback. But try not to interrupt if at all possible. Let them work through it first.Changing topics of role play offer learners opportunities to use English in different contexts. And in the end, that’s the “fishing” element of communicative language teaching
