I have also learned about the two past tenses and how/when to use them. I learned about clothes, bartering, sports, and, more recently, I learned formal commands (mandatos) that will be very useful even outside of Spanish. I have also greatly improved my reading/comprehension and writing skills. This class has also helped me get over my shyness when speaking Spanish and this has helped my understanding of Spanish as a whole.

It was interesting to learn a lot of new vocabulary and incorporate the words into speaking activities and escrituras. Learning about civilizations and ancient historical places has expanded interest and made me want to go there.
