I think I am doing well in developing my attitude to study and my habits! For me, one of the more prevailing issues in not just math, but my life in general, was being overwhelmed by multiple things at once, leading me to be intimidated into not doing anything that results to missing deadlines and forgetting to study. I have addressed this issue of mine and I am doing my best to balance my academic and personal life, which leads me to be less distracted in math.

Conceptual Understanding

For me, the most difficult lesson were polynomial functions. I was very confused by synthetic division, factoring, and the many theorems I had to memorize despite studying and trying my hardest to understand the topic. Despite this, I still kept going and tried to organize my thoughts to be able to get through this topic with an ok score. Though, with a barely passing score in the long test, I still feel like I don't know much about this lesson because of my lack of knowledge in factoring and such. That's why I promised to develop that skill more and not dwell on this, because life moves on.

One concept that I did not get from the start was the sigma notation and its uses. I was very confused about the numbers above and below the symbol, and especially about the equation it is multiplied to. Though, thankfully, I figured out what it means by dissecting each part of it so I won't get overwhelmed with information and mess up my memorization.

Something I'm really proud of, and not just in one long test, was how I was able to brave through the module on Statistics. Personally, even if I did not get a desirable score on the long test, I'm still proud of what I put in and believe that this is a big step in achieving my goals for the future. I really liked Statistics as a lesson and had fun with it. I believed there I was able to take a big step in having a more positive attitude towards lessons in math. Because of this, I strive to start working harder and smarter especially in my stem subjects for a better output in the future.

I would like to thank my classmates, especially Robert, Jose and Jorrel for helping me understand more on various concepts that I did not initially get on the lesson and were still confused of despite repeated explanations. They were really patient with me and helped me practice and refresh for quizzes and tests.
