During the Great Depression several people lost their homes and started to live where they could. Even if those conditions were bad or even dangerous. Post-Pandemic and because the COVID 19 crisis many individuals were forced to leave their houses or move from their origin places because the interest rates were really high and they could not afford the price of their house.
In both cases the most common solution is to be homeless. This may affect people's health because they live in dirty places.
