In "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell, the overall lesson of the story is the importance of all life, big or small and how life should be lived to it's best. It is human nature to want to help out the others around you (thought not everyone.)

I think that you should change your word choice to be more vague so the theme would be more universal and less about only being
