*Valuable to explore new formats for providing PD (example - adding webinars)
*New topic focus - ex: book study and topic of communication is great
*Could we create PD options that were asynchronous (modeled after online course) that allowed people to fit it into their schedules as it works for them but still provides quality opportunity for reflection, and conversation.
*Like the idea of tapping into member districts for PD events. This could help with having other people presenting and widen the variety of offerings at the same time.

We should define the collaborative benefit & responsibility of membership. I agree that the collaborative nature of our organization is unique and a major benefit but I see the collaboration as a "Give" & "Take" responsibility. In the past we have had members take a lot and not give much of anything... I am not referring to brand new members who need to take time to understand and build capacity so they feel like they can "give". Should we take some time to define what "membership" includes & expects?

Our committee structure has worked for us in the past but this year we struggled to get broad participation from our members. It has been the primary way we have accomplished tasks like building PD options/schedules, building our learning progressions, designing a transcript report that reflects our vision and increasing communication with post-secondary, etc. We have had ad-hoc committees to focus on revising our Charter, redesigning our membership structure, helping to build policies, etc. If we make sure our committee structure is supporting our goals, can we generate the participation we need from a broad representation of our members, understanding that everyone is super busy. Might we have people within your organizations who would like to get more involved? I am thinking about some site leaders who are currently providing strong leadership in our organization and others in the past who have done so.
