The party is at a house, who's family is extremely wealthy. The father of the family keeps semi-automatic weapons in and glass display in his study. There is no lock on the display, and the guns are easy to access. Due to the fact that there is alcohol, many of the young high school students who attend the party get intoxicated. At the part, one of the friends gets into a fight with another student at the party over a girl. Tempers rise, and things get out of hand. The young student runs into the house, up to the father's study and takes one of the guns, an M16. He comes back down to the party and points it at theother student that he had got into the fight with. He threatens him, waving the weapon with impaired vision and judgement. He realizes that he cannot tell one person from the other. We as a society, need to do a better job of keeping deadly weapons out of individuals who cannot think with a clear mind...Or people who go to extremes, like Steve to show people that he exists. As a society, we must advocate the importance of being safe with arms and not have careless gun stores or employees.   • From the party, the shooter gets arrested and will serve a life sentence in jail. From these stories, it's important to understand that guns are not something to play around with. They are tools of mass destruction and can easily end someone's life in more ways than one. One mistake made by a high school teen is going to haunt him for the rest of his life.
