This way of branding suggest that the creators of the ad knew information about Black Lives Matter and the purpose of the movement, but since it involved an already disproportionately discrespected group of people, it would be easy to profit off of them without any repercussions. Brightness in the image is presented to highlight the Black Power fist, that has been used for decades as a sign of black empowerment. The emphases of Black empowerment without actually giving an accurate reprsenation of the Black movements the advertistment was imitating further proves that the point of the ad relating or bringing attention to the problems of racial injustice was ingenuine. To make matter worse there is then the saying " Once you go black you never go back". Constant times within the ad there is confusion what the real focus is. Is it the car? A social movement? Racial jokes? All of these things are represented but none accurately and especially not tastefully. At the very bottom of the ad there is bright yellow writing about aspects of the car but it is very hard to focus on it due to magnification and placement of the other images. The creator of the ad had no intention of selling a car ethically but to use shock value as a way to promote their business as a whole.
