The second week went very well, and was very enjoyable to do and film. However, I struggled with the storyboard assignment simply because I don't like drawing (and I had to do 30 sketches). I think Mr. Burr could have done a better job at explaining how to capture certain angles in the storyboard (the video got most of them, but I missed on a couple of them that the video did not cover-to my knowledge). Perhaps, he could have made his own short video making his own storyboard.
2. The most valuable thing that I learned this week was how to make a shot list because it allowed me to quickly come up with an idea and develop it in an organized fashion.
3. I felt that the Life in Seconds project went well, however I made a mistake in my editing (a shot in my video that had my hand in it was present in the vimeo video despite me trimming it in iMovie-thankfully, that was the only bump in the road). I also thought that the pre-production was orderly, helpful, and logical (even the storyboard, in spite of my objections). The shot list, the shot formation, the filming, and the editing all went swimmingly; however, the transition from iMovie to Vimeo could have gone better, given that a mistake was created out of it that should not have been created in the first place.
