Advantages batteries can sometimes last long in a month or a year it depends on the battery that your using in the device or toy. Even though the battery that you use for remote controls, toys, and other staff has this martial using the battery that has AAA that mostly can be strong but some batteries has a larger size that is a 6 volt battery. Advantages:
Batteries can last very long depending on what you use and it can also be recycled to make more newer batteries. Batteries are also very easy to use, find the negative and positive sign and just place it in the correct place.

Disavantages:
Even though you can charge some batteries it doesn't last very long and when it runs out of energy you would have to buy more and more which is a waste of money. Another disadvantage
Of the batteries are that they don't always get recycled and most of it ends up at landfills causing pollution and damage to the environment because of the acid and etc.

Advantages:

Some batteries can be Rechargeable,long lasting,and can bring any where like camping and need batteries for torch or some thing.
Disadvantage
Rechargeable batteries can't be used after couple hundred because it will not work and you have to buy new rechargeable batteries and rechargeable batteries can be exspensive and if you are at the camp sight in the middle of nowhere and you don't have a rechargeable batterie then your batteries runs out and there is no shops to buy more
