Puritans of Salem, Massachusetts had valued wealth of the Church and the well being of all Puritan's that had lived in Salem at the time. There were two types of people in Salem, the poor farmer and the wealthy merchants that lived in the village. Many thought that Puritans had accused others to obtain more land in the region. Puritans began to worry people because of there love of wealth. Many also think The Salem Witch Trials were fueled by greed and jealousy, in which the accuser was jealous or wanted want the other person had. These had shaped the American dream by creating the want to be wealthy. In Salem the American dream had hanged from wanted to be wealthy to wanting to live.
