This essay will discuss the problem of culture shock propose one solution and evaluate the effectiveness of these solutions.

There are some reason for the problem of cultural shock is international students cannot get used to the host country’s culture. Firstly, students will hate anything and think nobody can help them because they cannot use their first language to find people to help them. For example, people will scream because anything is difficult for international students at home(TEDEd). Another reason for the problem of culture shock is students will miss home because the culture is different they can not understand why people hate people and think people don't respect them. For example, when students go to other countries to study they will feel food is different don’t like eating food, and wonder why people don’t make other foods. Thirdly, students do not like to socialize with other people because they feel unhappy and upset and do not want to socialize. To sum up, students have a lot of reasons to get this problem.

One solution is to try to make friends with you to do anything because culture shoot usually is alone person to do anything and think not people to help. Do not be scared to socialize with other people(TEDEd) because when students make friends will feel are not alone.

It is unlikely that trying to make friends with you to do anything would be helpful. because students, do not make friends this solution, can not help students and if students' Second language is not good for people talking to them feel bad and upset. Because students will regret going to other countries to study. This solution only for social skills is a good student and the Second language is a good student.

Culture shock is inevitable for international students or tourists when going to another country. Especially to mention the food. Each country will have different ways of preparing food and using it differently. For example, in Vietnam, people prefer delicious dishes that are meticulously prepared, while in Australia, people prefer fast food without too much spice. In addition, The way of eating is also different, for example, in India they can eat with their hands to feel the food more authentically or in European countries they use spoons and knives, while in Southeast Asian countries they learn to use chopsticks and spoons.Culture shock about food is also an interesting thing for people to experience. Furthermore, people can also be surprised, interested or confused by each different culture, such as the dances and songs of each country. For example, in Spain they are famous for the Cha-cha-cha dance. Dance as a couple gracefully and harmoniously. In Vietnam, it is famous for its sweet and passionate songs and unique traditional dances. Each person needs to gain knowledge about the culture in other countries, exchange and learn, this will help you go anywhere without being surprised. It would be wonderful if everyone knew many cultures .In short, culture shock is a broad category. People can adapt or they can be surprised and confused, which is obvious and needs to be explored when people come to many new countries.

The essay will discuss culture shock and will suggest the effective solution is communication and the evaluation to manage this problem. Culture Shock is the personal cultural norms that are not reinforced by the values of the other culture. And refers to feelings of uncertainty, confusion, or anxiety that people may experience when moving to a new country or surroundings.

Culture shock can occur when people move to a new city or country, go on vacation, travel abroad, or study abroad for school. According to Culture Shock ( 2011), the most effective solution is Communication. Communication is a two-way means of communicating information in the form of thoughts, opinions, and ideas between two or more individuals to build an understanding. It is widely agreed that Communication can help travelers, sojourners, and students to gain confidence, and understanding of the environment and the culture around them. This solution probably effective for individuals when they have self-awareness, patience and understanding of value during their communication. But it might not be working when the individuals don't open their minds and accept the fact of feeling disorientation, frustration, rejection, confusion, and anger. As a matter of fact, Culture shock is a huge problem that will lead everyone to be stressed, depressed and also the feeling of loneliness.

This essay will discuss the culture shock issue and then suggest and evaluate a possible solution to this problem. Nowadays, culture shock is a very common problem for everyone in the world. The definition of culture shock is a feeling of anxiety and confusion caused by exposure to a new culture- can be a significant barrier to the adjustment and performance of an expatriate ( adapted from Phatak, A.V et al. (2009) - page 140textbook ). This can hinder individual’s ability to function effectively in new environment and their overall health . There are some causes of CS such as cultural/food/ language differences… communication barrier, ….

First of all, most of the problems people have to face in culture shock are language differences. Because when coming to a new country, the language of this place is not their mother tongue, people have to learn it from scratch. Especially, it is difficult for new beginners to communicate with the native people. So during this time, they may feel bored, anxious, miss family and friends, then want to go home. People can do the following to overcome this difficulty: go out to reduce stress, try to communicate more with local people to improve their language, participate in social activities… These ways are really effective and help them quickly adapt to the new environment, new culture and become more confident. One significant aspect of cultural shock is adjusting to new food. Food is really an important issue when living in a new country m, maybe the food will not suit people’s taste and they will miss the food of their hometown. Solutions of this is cooking at home, because experiment with cooking traditional dishes from new culture can be a fun way to learn about local ingredients. Cooking will help people enjoy their eating experience and feel less nostalgic for their hometown dishes, but it requires them to have time. Coping with culture shock is not easy, but with the right mindset and support, people can become better version of themselves.
