Risk management is important to held an event successfully. An effective risk management helps event to avoid uncertain and unnecessary situation that affect the running of event. Risk can come from internal and external sources. Risk management plans contribute to project success by establishing a list of internal and external risks. This plan typically includes the identified risks, probability of occurrence, potential impact and proposed actions.
Risk Response generally includes:
•	Avoidance…eliminating a specific threat, usually by eliminating the cause.
•	Mitigation…reducing the expected monetary value of a risk event by reducing the probability of occurrence.
•	Acceptance…accepting the consequences of the risk. This is often accomplished by developing a contingency plan to execute should the risk event occur.
