During the summer I did a lot of things, I went to the beach, state fair, fishing and I was active. In June I hung out with my friend at the mall. I also helped my parents with their garden by planting vegetables and fruit trees. In July I went fishing with my parents and spent some time at the beach. In August I went back to school shopping and went to the state fair with my cousins and eldest sister.

Things Going Well In My Life

Something that is going well in my life right now are my relationships with other people. My friends and I contact and hang out with each other regularly. We talk everyday for hours at a time. I’m very close to my friends and I’m very grateful for them! Another thing that is going good for me currently is that i’m taking drivers ed.

Strengths, Needs & Interests

My strengths are that I’m able to turn in my assignments in on time and that I’m a quick learner. Something that I need is a peaceful classroom environment to focus during class. Another thing that I need for this class is the ability to choose our own partners/group. I don’t have any particular interests related to language arts.

My name is Venus and I’m 15 years old. My hobbies are playing badminton, drawing, and trying new foods. I also enjoy listening to music like Faye Webster, Mac DeMarco and Laufey. My family are Hmong originally from Laos and then migrated to the USA. I am the youngest child out of my siblings. I have two older sisters and an older brother. I grew up in Blaine, Minnesota. A fun fact about me is that my favorite fruits are mangoes and peaches!
