I have had actual art classes since my first year in middle school, going onto my second year in middle school. I was not able to have an art class during my last year in middle school because I had a drama class instead.
I did not have an art class during my freshman year in high school because freshmen are not allowed to have an extra-curricular class. I had an art class in my sophomore year though. In my junior year I was required to take philosophy as my extra-curricular class (A class that I actually liked with the original teacher but hated with the permanent substitute).
Right now I am drawing on my own.
