Because my father is an architectural engineer and I want to follow in his footsteps, I have always been captivated by how places and structures affect how people live and interact. I decided to major in architecture because of my love of creativity and design. I have a strong interest in how architecture shapes our cities and communities by fusing science, art, and functionality. I think it's a field where I can solve practical problems and express my ideas.

Because of the UK's top rating for architectural education and its long history of both classical and modern architecture, I decided to study here. I will be exposed to a variety of architectural styles, cultures, and modern technology while studying in the UK, which will extend my horizons and enable me to develop as a future architect.

My goal is to rank among Kuwait's top architects. In addition to being aesthetically beautiful, I want to create sustainable and culturally significant buildings. By fusing contemporary designs with traditional Kuwaiti elements, I hope to contribute to the growth of Kuwait's architectural landscape. I think that the information and abilities I will acquire from my university studies in architecture will give me a solid basis on which to build this dream and positively influence my nation.

I don't have a hard time adjusting as an international student in London because I've been to the UK before and know a lot of the places. I've felt more at ease getting around the city ever since I got here, and I've been having a great time with my classmates. Attending conventions and making new friends who have similar interests to mine is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy exploring the city and finding cute little shops that sell badges and other small trinkets.

There are a lot of differences between London and Kuwait, where I was raised. The weather caught my attention right away. We hardly ever need to check the weather app in Kuwait because it's usually very hot and sunny. It's completely different here in London, where I'm always checking the app to see if it's going to rain or if it's going to be warm or cold. The diversity of people is another significant difference. I truly love seeing the diversity of nationalities and cultures in London wherever I go.

I've learned a lot of new skills from living on my own. I now know how to cook, clean, do my own laundry, and handle my own finances. Although there has been a significant shift, I am happy with my personal development.

Making friends has been one of the best parts of this experience. All of my friends, both inside and outside of my class, are incredibly supportive and kind. Being an international student living far from home, I consider myself lucky to have such a wonderful group of friends.

I also came to the realization that I shouldn't be afraid to talk to my teachers. I sincerely appreciate all of the helpful criticism they have given me, which has enabled me to produce better work. I've learned from my friends that there are a lot of encouraging people in my life and that I shouldn't be scared to express my interests or be who I am.

I've presented presentations many times, and at first I get really anxious. But I actually start to get excited to show everyone what I've been working on as I continue to practice and get used to giving presentations. FC318 Practical drawing is one of my favorites. I was truly inspired by it because it was the first time I had ever received formal drawing instruction. I began drawing in my spare time as a result of this module, and I've seen significant progress. It has inspired a passion I was unaware I had before and assisted me in learning new skills. Since I like writing essays and getting deeply into new subjects, I also love the other two modules that concentrate on learning and research.

The interactive teaching was something new for me while I was working with Kaplan.
