Autism is a developmental disorder of variable severity that is characterized by difficulty in social interaction and communication and by restricted or repetitive patterns of thought and behavior.
2. Hard for parents, teachers, and students. Autistic children have special needs in the classroom. Inappropriate social behavior, compulsive behavior, impulsivity, repetitive movements, or repetition of words/actions. Learning disabilities and speech delay. Attention problems and interest in small range of things. Unaware of other's emotions. Anxiety, sensitivities, and tics.
3. Teachers can care, help, and persevere. Structure and understanding that all autistic children have different needs.
