I am known for having the bible translated into English for the first time and we called it the king James Bible. One of my biggest successes as ruler was founding Jamestown in the newly acquired lands of America.

My name is Oliver Cromwell and I emerged as a Puritan Army General during the English civil war; after the war I was crowned the Lord protector where I then ruled England. During my reign I abolished the monarchy and I established a Commonwealth. I am pretty well known for my part in the execution of James I and my military status, I also led the conquest of Ireland and Scotland and I also had a vision for a puritanical society.

I am King Charles II and I had a rough life during the rule of Oliver Cromwell, he had exiled me to France due to me being the kin of former King, Charles I. After that wretched Oliver Cromwell passed away I returned to England and restored the Monarchy. During my rule of England there had been many problems, such as the Great Fire of London 1966 and a resurgence of the black plague. I also sought to heal the wounds left by the civil war, I also pursued a policy of religious tolerance in a document I named the Declaration of Indulgence.

James II (1685-1688)

I am King James II and I am the brother of Charles II, because my brother Charles has 12 illegitimate children; I would be the last Catholic king of England, Ireland, and Scotland. Although I am Catholic, most of England is in fact Protestant and did not appreciate another Catholic king and I have faced many challenges regarding religion. Due to the challenges with religion, the Glorious Revolution began and I was overthrown peacefully, the constitutional monarchy was solidified and the foundation for the English Bill of right were laid.

Mary (1688-1702)

I am the beloved Queen Mary and I am the daughter of king James II, unlike my father I was raised protestant. I married my cousin William of Orange who is also Protestant. I was asked to rule along with William after parliament completed the overthrowing of King James II. Our rule began the constitutional monarchy in England by agreeing to govern in accordance with the laws and decisions of Parliament, we had also passed the English Bill of Rights in 1689 which officially limited the monarchy.
