         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>Thesis</mark>:<br> In Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, the antithesis between the Lintons and the Earnshaws portrays the theme that decisions lead to their own fate. <br><mark>Paragraph 1</mark>: <br>Topic sentence- Hindley, in his self absorbed downfall, represents the Earnshaws’ fate. <br>Evidence 1- Hindley becomes alcoholic once wife is dead<br>Evidence 2- Catherine married Edgar for money not love<br>Evidence 3- Heathcliff became obsessed w grief, leading to his revenge<br><mark>Paragraph 2</mark>: <br>Topic sentence- Edgar, tender and faithful, demonstrates the secret strengths of the Lintons<br>Evidence 1- Edgar remained a loving father in grief, illness, and death<br>Evidence 2- Isabella raised Linton on her own, again in grief and post abuse<br><mark>Paragraph 3</mark>: Lintons die for love, and Earnshaws die for themselves. The Earnshaws, indulged in selfishness, in comparison to the Lintons, loyal and true, show how decisions have their own outcomes.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
