Both king and wise are peaceful at heart which doesn't make sense to me because I would go guns blazing into a fight against whoever my oppressor is. Martin Luther said Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. silence this is similar to Wiesels neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. They were both   strong and intelligent men in history that stood up for what they believed in and for equality. They didn"t keep quit while the rest of the world did.  Elie knew people were dying for the wrong reason so when he got free he knew it was important to tell the world so that something will change. Just like Martin told everyone how it was wrong to judge people based on the race and give them different rights.
