Martin Luther King Jr. once said "The time is always right to do what is right," I believe this supports Wiesel's idea that there is no excuse to be silent. Wiesel spoke of this "A destruction, an annihilation that only man can provoke, only man can prevent," he spoke of only human can save human. Words may be simple, but they can change worlds. They both idealized equality and peaceful protest.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Elie Wiesel were both very intelligent and wise people. They both spoke their minds and stood up for what they believed to be true and just. King once stated, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." This quote shows King's desire to speak up and use your voice. Both King and Wiesel went through an unbearable time and both managed to make a mark on the world. They used their pain to make a difference.

They both stood up for what they believed was right. They were both peaceful and they weren't harmful. They were both men who stood up for what they believe and wouldn't put down a fight. Both got judge for what race or religion they were. They didn"t keep quit while the rest of the world did. Elie knew people were dying for the wrong reason so when he got free he knew it was important to tell the world so that something will change. Just like Martin told everyone how it was wrong to judge people based on the race and give them different rights. Both of these people words made a impact in a good way.
