The portrait is of Cecilia Gallerani who was the mistress of the Duke of Milan.  The painting is suppose to symbolize purity.  The painting came to Poland when Prince Czartoryski bought it to his mother from his travels to Italy.  The painting is now located in the Czartotoryski Museum in Krakow, Poland.

During the dance both partners flow and sway slightly. The Oberek dance is much faster. The dance has more of a bounce to it  and contains it circular movements.
