Are there any security issues in LinkedIn ?
the answer is yes. Back in 2012, Linked in encountered a certain problem involving their social networking site. The problem affected 6.5 million accounts during that time. The problem was data breach that was accessed by the hacker by using stolen members ID. the member ID would be useful to thieves trying to impersonate members and access nonpublic info.

"Is LinkedIin useful?"

It depends on the jobs that you are searching for. If you are a freelancer looking to get a simple job like a part time waitress then it's not a useful site. It is also useless if you are pursuing to become an actress or a runway model because these jobs are rare or close to not available in LinkedIn. However, its usefulness lies to the people who are an engineer, a marketer, an accountant, etc. Business man or any related workers can also build relationships with other companies by staying connected with them in LinkedIn In conclusion, the social networking site, LinkedIn can greatly benefit people with engineering, medicine or art background, etc, but freelancers will have to face the downside of it.
