Values: A persons standards of behavior

The corruption of government played a major role in the decline of morals and values throughout Rome. Corrupted officials were known to use threats, bribes, and other tactics to achieve their goals. Resulting in ignoring the needs of Roman citizens which created a decline in morals and values in the Roman empire. The Roman problem of diminished morals and values directly ties in with SDG 16 in many ways. For example, with a corrupted government who does not have the Roman citizens in their best interest; this created a lack of peace and justice.

The biggest problem there in the homicide rate which is about a 0.087 percent change or 87 people out of 100,000. In 2016 the rape crime rate was at 91.87 out of 100,000. Crime in St.Louis is very violent and it must suck to live in fear almost everyday.
