When I was in high school technology was electric typewriters. Otherwise it was pencil and paper. What was also popular was an ibm selectric typewriter which had a ball inside that had all the letters and numbers. Some had an erasing feature. The ditto machine or mimeograph which was like a copier but it was manual. It took a lot of time and effort to use.

My favorite was the selectric typewriter because she was a very fast typer. Making copies with the ditto machine I disliked the most because It was a lot of work.

It made completing school papers and things I did at the office job I had much neater and faster.

When I was in school I used an apple computer. It was in my later elementary and early jr high days. I liked the computers because I could play Oregon Trail. It was a thirty minute class once a week that got us out of school work. Another technology I remember was overhead projectors. It was another way of doing work without a chalkboard.

I hated the T.I. graphing calculator because there were too many buttons and made simple things hard to compute.

The computer enhanced my learning experience by teaching me how to type so I didn’t have to write. It was before the internet so it wasn’t like we could look things up yet.

We use our laptops to work on HMH which is what we use for reading and writing. We use them for Savvas which is how we work on our math. We also use google to look up stuff for other assignments. We have a touch screen tv in class that we can use as a white board.

My favorite technology is the touch screen tv because it is easy to use. I don’t like using the laptops because it likes to sign us out.

The tv helps me because the teacher can write things down and I can copy what she is writing down. It also helps because we can erase what we wrote without getting marker stuff on my hands.
