For many years I have been praying for a family member who does not believe in God. I am very close to her and give practical examples of my life as evidence that Jesus Christ is real and loves us all. We have had many discussions about scripture and because I consistently study the word I was able to answer her questions. Recently she told me that something I said had touched her heart. She still has many questions but I am happy to report that she said that "what you told me about Jesus is true I don't understand why people don't believe because I do!" Years of prayer, persistence and keeping the lines of communication open encouraged her so she felt free to discuss her doubts with me. I am so thankful to God and will continue to minister to her. It was also important for me to continually study the word by taking classes at FBCG so that according to 1 Peter 3:15 I could "be prepared to give an answer". I'm so happy!

Please be in prayer with me as I witness to my neighbors. They have expressed an interest in attending church and I am praying an hoping they will attend FBCG with me.

I have been able to minister and encourage a friend who has been depressed (and at times suicidal) over the last year. She has been through many trials. Recently she has turned the corner and has been optimistic, seen some practical improvements in her life, and is strengthening her relationship with God! Praise the Lord!

On the night of Good Friday, a set of 11 year old twins (Jayla and Kayla) and their Grandmother sat next to me as I ENJOYED the Glory to Glory play. MYYY God.. God’s anointing on the music and performances of the play were beyond description… POWERFUL - and able to tenderize the hearts of two 11 year-old girls, enabling Holy Spirit to come in and do the rest!

When the play ended, I asked if they had been saved and/or baptized. Their sweet shy voices answered “no.” I asked if they wanted to be saved by Jesus Christ and baptized - they both smiled and gave a hearty “YES!”.. my tears flowed as I prayed to myself and walked them to the alter, at invitation time.

The Grandmother later shared that she is an FBCG member but the girls were not members. She also prays for all of the grandchildren, and promised the girls

“Mc Donald’s” if they attended the play!! THANK GOD for a praying Grandmother!!🙌🏾

I have worked with one of my co-workers for 8 yrs. She is a wonderful person and I do believe she believes in Jesus. However, she does not practice having a relationship with Him. She seems very interested each time I share Christ with her but I have not yet been able to get her to the prayer of salvation (it can be very tricky in the workplace). Please be in prayer with me as I continue to encourage her to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

Encouging my Friend, that her Sister, who's in the Hospital and had to have body parts amputated. I was able to Minister to her about our Father God is a Mighty Healer and He is Faithful to Perform His Word! I shared my Testimony to her about the birth of my youngest Son and that didn't think he was going to make it! He's 36 years old and He loves our Lord and worships Him. She's alot better in TRUSTING GOD. AMEN

My first cousin’s son (mid-30s) had a mild stroke. We briefly spoke on the phone because she was at the hospital. I shared an audio of healing scriptures with her. She also said that she was going to share with her son. Both are unsaved. 🙏🏽 Rosalind

I ministered to my cousin whose son is in prison. I encouraged her by sharing the word of God and His promises. I encouraged her to also minister to her son, and to encourage him use his time as an opportunity to show the love of Christ so that others may know God.

Before writing this post I revisited the biblical and secular definition of an enemy. Reason is: I did not want to assume the person is an enemy. Praying for an individual who took advantage of my kindness. The individual is ignoring me I feel because of their destructive actions taken against me. I am believing God for the person’s salvation but also praying that God’s will be done and my vindication. 🙏🏽Rosalind

8/8/24 I joined the FBCG on January 1, 2023 upon moving to Upper Marlboro Maryland from Woodbridge, Virginia. As a former Deaconess and choir director, I was excited to immediately join the renowned United Voices choir, as well as the Queen Esther Ministry, For over two years now my oldest daughter, her husband, and my four little grandchildren ( ages 5,6, 9

& 10) yrs old), have accompanied me to church, especially when I minister with the UV choir. Last month, to my surprise, all of them walked down the aisle and joined FBCG. Lead by my

6 yr old granddaughter Chloe, when Min. Joshua Jenkins said” Why wait, what are you waiting for?, she glared at her parents and said “ I’ve got to go right now”. Then she dashed down the aisle by herself, followed by all the other kids, and the parents trailing behind.

They kids attend St. Mary’s of Assumption Catholic School, are baptized, know the Lord, and the redemptive sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. Now they have a a AMAZING church home to grow up in the fullness of God. Amen.

Sharing the Gospel

On last Friday, I received shuttle service when I dropped off my car for maintenance. The shuttle driver was receptive to my sharing the Roman Road to salvation and asked several questions to learn more about salvation. He mentioned being Catholic, but expressed interest in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ. After sharing scriptures and the sinner's prayer, I invited him to attend an FBCG worship service. When he picked me up to return to retrieve my car, he asked more questions and said he will visit FBCG soon.

Good Friend

I have a good friend that was just diagnosed with Leukemia. She has an agressive bone marrow damaging form. The prognosis is not good, but I am encouraging her to believe GOD! Just this past Sunday she went to church after a long absence. I would like for my UV family to pray that she strengthen her relationship with the Lord!

While taking my daughters to the tutoring ministry, I began talking to one of the parents and they mentioned how they werent a member of any church but would watch Pastor online from time to time. They also shared how their neighbor is a member and would invite them to church however, they hadn’t as of yet. I talked with her about how much I loved the church and how since joining my life has changed for the better. I shared with her about our other ministries and how the Lord was speaking to her via her neighbor and now me to come and accept the Lord and become a member of the church. We exchanged numbers and I gave her additional informed related to her child’s schooling. I will follow up to continue to water the seed that I’ve planted with her.

I have been ministering to my cousin who disabled ,she's currently in the shelter with with her year old daughter. I will be picking them up and bringing them to church. I've talked to her of God's goodness,shared my testimonies with her. UV Please keep her in your prayers 🙏🏾. Her name is Trevia Reed, her daughter is Kylena Reed.❤️🌻❤️

1/31/2025 Goddaughter Discipled

I have been discipling my goddaughter the past couple of years. She was reluctant to join the church with Christian experience, but I mentioned several times how she might benefit from the Queen Esther ministry. She joined Queen Esther in 2024 and on January 19th I served as her altar counselor when she finally made the decision to become a member of FBCG. Praise God!

My friend of 20+ years was diagnosed with a cognitive decline in her ability to think. She has experienced financial hardship due to loss of business income during Covid 19. She also has broken relationships with her adult children and siblings. She believes in God and is a giving person who is now depressed because of her diagnosis. With much encouragement and prayer, she had started to attend FBCG and had found a church close to her home. When following up with her she has stopped attending church and Bible study. I was able to encourage her to know that God has not forgotten her. She visited me yesterday and I asked her what she wanted me to pray for. I was able to pray with her and will continue to reach out. She needs to know that God is still a way maker and miracle worker. I would like to my UV family to pray for her and that I will be able to continue to "be the church" and share the word with her. Tolores
