I used a effect for the stars but the silhouette of the tree and the bench were drawings from me. I thought about a lot how a different cover could be good for the design but also appropriate for the story and I came about covers from other books that used silhouettes that looked pretty good so I thought that could represent this book well. Stars are something we don’t see the whole day and there are also people that don’t see stars at all because of where they live.
