Growing up, my dad would sit down on the side of my bed with his guitar, playing songs for me. He would have me come up with lyrics to what he played. In addition, during church events, my mom and I would sing worship songs together. Because of my family's love for music, I loved writing songs and would jot them down in my notes app. Music helped shape my family traditions and my identity. Music will always be a part of me and my family!

I have two sisters: Liliana, who is 11, and Destiny, who is 5! They have shaped me into who I am, helped me mature faster, and also influenced the reason I chose to be a teacher. Liliana, especially, had a significant impact as we grew up together. I was 8 when she was born, and I took care of her and raised her. As she grew, I helped her with her schoolwork and taught her to believe in herself. As I got older, I realized that I wanted to help and teach other kids just like I taught her.

These puppies joined our family when I was around 7 years old and are the reason I donate and volunteer at no-kill animal shelters any chance I get! They helped shape my love for animals from a very young age, they are truly my babies!


Harley was a funny dog with a big heart. One time, he gently dragged me off the couch to get my scrunchy out of my hair. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. Unfortunately, Harley passed away, but I cherish the joy he brought me. Marley is still with us! he has a huge heart. When I was alot younger, I would fake feed him fake baby bottles. He fell asleep every time. His love for me and my love for him brings me so much comfort and joy in my life.


I can’t picture my life without the memories I have with them.
