The elderly people's preparation for old age impacts birthrate problem. The development of medical technology is decreasing mortality in elderly, but also birthrate is decreasing. So increasing population of elderly cause young people's burden of caring elderly people. If do so the cost of young generation to take care of elderly people will increase from now on. Thus low birthrate problem make difficult that young people to take care of elderly people and there is a deep connection between the two generations about birthrate.

   

The fertility rate problem reduce youth and as this generation decrease, the future working population decrease. So youth people who increase the cost of per person caring for elderly person is decreasing. And due to the decrease in the working population, the quality of the labor decrease and the national competitiveness becomes less. If the national economy worsens, it is a vicious cycle in which young people's development possibility about workforce decrease. Male and female important as well as these generation segments to the birthrate.

   

The low fertility demand a role with a burden for men and women. Women are required to give birth, but working women is difficult. Also men are demand to take care of baby, but it is difficult because of walk on eggs on child care welfare in company. Both men and women it difficult to keep their demand on low birth due to drawback of social environment and system. This issue of male and female birthrate may intensify conflict with each other.

   

As above, the birthrate problem is serious in segments of elderly, youth, male and female. The more elderly population rise, South Korea’s fertility rate deepen. And decline in youth reduces the working population, making the economy difficult. Giving to men and women role about birth does not help the fertility problem because of the social atmosphere. We have to look at sectors this problem and realize the seriousness.
