You will be researching the life and contributions of a famous Hispanic; living or dead. 

 

This project gives you the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of Latin America. 

 

You are going to choose a Hispanic person that you are interested in learning more about his/her life. You will choose one from a list that Sra. Shoemaker will present to you. You will email Sra. Shoemaker the person you choose. This will be first come first serve, so pick at least three people that you want to choose just in case your first two have been taken. After completing your research, you will create a powerpoint. Once you have completed your powerpoint, you will download your powerpoint on padlet.com/rshoemaker8/Spanish1

 

You will then comment to at least two other student’s work. What you like? found interesting and/or what you learned from their powerpoint? 

1^st slide: Cover Page

2^nd slide: Factual information (date of birth, death, family, Hispanic heritage, etc.)

3^rd slide: Career (Why is he/she famous?)

4^th slide: What did he/she contribute to society? Name at least 2 things

5^th slide: 10 Spanish/English words that you learn from your person

6^th slide: Why did you choose this person? 

7^th slide: Picture/Video Work Cited

 

Respond to the following questions with at least two sentences for each. 

Provide a screen shot of the two students comments that you make and also a screenshot of your powerpoint on padlet.

Your powerpoint downloaded on padlet, your two student comments, Evidence, and Self-Reflection will be due on November 17, 2017.

Show off your creativity! You can add videos (no more than 3 minutes) and pictures in your power point. I can’t wait to see what you all create!
