There were two distinct sides in the war, the Allied Powers and the Central Powers. the Allies consisted of Portugal, France, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, and more. The Central Powers were Germany, Austria-Hungary, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, and the Ottomans. Though not all countries were aligned, but instead stayed neutral like Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
