Dune is a work of sci-fi or science fiction by Frank Herbert with the main message being " fate vs free will." this is about the protagonist, Paul Atreides a teenager at the time who travels to Arakis only to witness the overthrow of his people, the Atreides.

With nowhere to go he is stranded in Arakis (SPOILER) only to end up it's leader as the Kwisatz Haderach ( a prophecy of a messiah)

this has been one of the best and most popular science fiction books of the past 2 decades and remains a showpiece today being translated in 20 languages and made it a number of movies.

Shatter me is a book by tareheh mafi with the main charaters being the protogonist- Juilliette a teenage girl who is suffering from a long term illness which is she can't touch anywhone without seriously harming them. So she gets sent to an asylum for the insane. where she prepares to spend the rest of her life in only to find out she is getting an inmate. She thems find out that the inmate adam can touch her without getting harmed and she is BAfFelLed also she gets kidnapped and the captive - warner starts to like her but she she shoots him and then runs away and join this sort of cult who captures him ( to no effect) and then he runs away and then the story ends. overall, a very good story 10/10 i.

Shadow and bone .book review.

This book is by Leigh Barudo. I really enjoyed reading this book because of the clever dialogue, the setting and the genre which was fantasy. But one reason that i didn't like this book as much as others is because the main character, Alana Starkov was written pretty dull, not having much opinions and having a too abrupt change in personality, mindset and other qualities in just one chapter as i think that character development happens throught time not just in one chapter. However, I think that all the other characters were very well written espically the antagonist. I also liked the storyline. Alina Starkov a teenage orphan who turns out to harness the most unique and rarest power the world has every seen and becomes a target or intrigue and violence. A person who later on is revealed as the antagonist, has other intends with her powers and decides to go after her. the book shows her struggling through channeling her own powers to destroy the antagonist. The book is her versus the the Grisha - the people who posses magical powers like her but are not as powerfull and the . darkling who is the villian. The setting in in ancient Russia and it involves russians rame and states. Overall, I really liked this book as it was really hooking with its diverse and hard to put down so i would rate this a 4.5/5.

I picked this book up because of my love for Star Wars. However, I had a very different storyline than I expected, as the characters were slightly different from the movie, and the plot differed. However, I loved it and all the twits. The story is about the Sith and the Jedi, who are allied, only for the Jedi to find out that it is a trap.... The main characters are two teenagers, one Sith and one Jedi, named Ben and Vestara. I loved their character development when sometimes Ben would be on the verge of turning to the dark side and Vestara to the light. But in the end, they have to team up to fight a mutual enemy, so it is great to see how they work together. i would rate this a 9.98 / 10 and the reason for the 0.02 deductions is that THE AUTHOR ENDED DA BOOK ON A FLIPPPIN CLIPHANGER AND THEN DISCONTINUED THE SERIES WHICH IS DA BEST BOOK EVER SO NOW IM LIKE WAT DA HAILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. I WANT ANOTHER BOOOK IN THE SERIESSSSSSSS

I picked up this historical fiction book while trying to expand my reading range beyond fantasy. Even though it is my first historical fiction book, I thoroughly enjoyed it. This story is set in 1989 communist Romania and follows the first-hand account of a Romanian teenager trying to survive this period with his family. This book shows the protagonist, Cristian, helping his family survive and pursuing being a writer by writing about the dictatorship of Romania. However, his notebook gets found as he is blackmailed into becoming a spy on his friends and family. This gets him charged with the ultimatum of betraying everyone he knows or getting sent to a prisoner camp. Later on, he discovers that he can use his talent of writing for the betterment of his country and sends his notebook in secret to writers in America. Overall, i really enjoyed this book and would rate it a 9.5/10.

Geek Girl is a realistic fiction book that I liked because I found the character funny and sort of relatable being a 12 year old girl. The book's main character is a girl named Harriet Manners, a girl growing up in England who gets straight As, knows almost everything, and is basically a jiwu. She is by definition a geek. so she gets appalled when she is called by one of England's biggest modeling agencies to be their star model. I loved watching her journey, messing up sometimes but gaining confidence throughout and making friends. this was a really good book and I can't wait for the movie to come out on Netflix. overall I would rate this book a 9/10

kensuke's Kingdom is a realistic fiction book I read for a class project but thoroughly enjoyed . I enjoyed this book because of its hidden depth and the relationship between the two main characters. ( it also reminds me of Sully )The story opens with a main character, Micheal, and his parents who go open sailing around the world. However, one day, in one of the biggest storms, Micheal falls off the boat and gets stranded on a deserted island or so it seems as he soon meets an old Japanese man who is also living on the same island. I really enjoyed seeing the character development between the characters and yow they evolve to be amazing friends. I think that the moral of the story is always to find the good out of things and overall, I would rate this a 5/5

Ties That Bond, Ties That Break is a standalone novel I read as a class project. It is a historical and coming-of-age fiction book based in China and America. I especially liked this book because of the culture, mostly Chinese. I also loved the main character, a girl named Eillen, as I really could connect with her, and she showed me how to do what was right, which was not easy. The main story is about how a girl, Eileen, defies Chinese tradition by not binding her feet, a very painful thing that all girls in China have to do in order to get married. Because of this, Eillen moves to America to start her own journey. I loved reding about her bravery through this book. Overall, i would rate this a 10/10

This book is part of a series that is sort of fantasy, futuristic, coming-of-age and sci-fi.

It has also been transformed into a global movie. It stars a main character - Katniss Everdeen and normal character but soon unknowingly gets called for the hunger games the most dealdly competiton. The book shows how she has to evelove as a charater in order to survive the games or even win. This was a very good book and i would overall rate this a 9.9/10
