This is a biblical story focused around the feeding of the multitudes by Jesus. A young boy is the main character who Jesus uses with his gifts to feed the people. I love the book for its message of what God can do with what we have to offer no matter what the size. A Crayon's Story is one of the most unique children's books I have ever read.
It is focused around a blue crayon who has a red label. This is a folktale about a rabbit who is being brought to the dragon king of the sea for his to be eaten by the trusty turtle. the rabbit realizes the plot of the kings produces a counterfeit heart. This a great book to introduce children to the idea of folktales and I love the illustrations that give life to the book.

This is a funny rendition of a classic story where instead of wanting a prince the princess just wants a frog best friend. her magical kisses do the opposite of what she wants. Fun book for a read along and I liked the change up in the story!

It is about a little witch who wants a creepy pet but never finds the right one until the opposite of what she wants finds her which is a kitten. This is a heart warming story about five orphans who are told they will be adopted by the king. Each work hard to impress the king with their except one girl who believes she has nothing to offer. When the king comes in disguise the girl with no talent is only one who kind to him and he takes her with him. This is wonderful metaphor about how God sees us. This is a story of a baby crocodile who thinks he is a flamingo but does not understand why he looks so different from the other flamingos. this saddens him until he find crocodiles that look like him.
