one strength i found in this was performance was i liked how i got louder as i got to the chorus however i wish i had projected my voice a little bit more at the start.

I also noticed that i got more comfortable and confident towards the end so again just would be good if that was continued.

i also liked how the moments where we did get lost we tried to help each other by making eye contact and cues to get each other back on track.

i also like how in that we were making the decisions of who would sing what parts so that the songs would sounds its best with the varies of voices we were working with.

Performing at the mash house was a very scary however rewarding experience overall i think the whole band did a really good job.

Picking out highlights i think we all worked as a team together really well especially the singers, personally i was very nervous the whole day but was proud of myself for not freezing while actually on the stage and pulling it together. I was pleased with how my two solo songs went and managing to sing with volume as well as hitting all the high notes.

I do however personally with that i had moved around a bit more on stage as i felt i stayed in one spot and looked down more than i should have as a audience member mentioned i have good stage presence just in a more restrained way.

in regards to how i would use this to prepare for future performances. i would be more prepared for my other band members songs as i feel i got my two songs and hyper focused on nailing them so even though the other songs were prepared i could have known them better as there were moments where the other singers on stage got lost and i could have helped them out.

After that another one of our singers arrived so we sound checked for her which also went well, because we were the first band on we just left out things on stage and i left the mic adjusted to my height as well as the setlist that one of our bandmates had prepared for us.

once on stage and we did any last minute preparations as the audience spoke among themselves, when we were ready we gave the sound tech a signal and we were ready to go. I started by saying hello to the audience and introducing the first song we would be preforming as well as the singer leading it, i also did the same for the other singer's song as well as the last

ADD LINKS TO SHOW WHAT YOU MEAN.for some of my personal inspirations for singing a main one that comes to mind is Amy lee from evanescence as she sings in a more higher range and sustains notes at that level, her voice is also very breathy which could be comparable to Billie Eilish which is something i like as i feel it makes her very understandable so when i work in my higher range i find myself trying to replicate that a little bit.

Another personal inspiration for myself would be a singer called Kelsey Karter who sings in a complete opposite style to Amy as she has a lot more of a grungy and rougher voice with a lot of "screeches". although both of these woman have very different voices i do find myself taking inspiration from them both as they both have very strong and powerful voices as well as taking inspiration in their appearances as they dress and present themselves in a way i personally really resonate with.

As for band inspirations over they year of working with my bandmates i have gotten to know them quite well and can say that for the general band as a whole we take inspiration from bands like the smiths and dinosaur junior as when we were making our original song which was preformed the guitarist took the lead with developing the melody and he mentioned that those were band he was channelling during that.

i was grateful enough to have friends there supporting me during my performance and was able to note some of their observations, one friend noted that they noticed how when one of the singers got a bit lost how i stepped in and tried to help them get back on track. Another thing that was noted was how during the performance i would sometimes interact with the audience which my peers said created good stage presence.

one of my classmates mentioned how linking to a previous observation i had good stage presence however it lacked while actually singing as i would often look to the side at my other singers on stage or sometime down at the floor so an improvement for my next performance was as it is good i can connect and speak to the audience between songs i have to maintain that energy and eye contact while singing.

the day of the performance i was extremely nervous the whole day so before soundcheck at 5pm i went to the gym in the morning as well as making sure i had a full meal and was really hydrated so that i had nothing to worry about health wise, then on the way to the venue i listened to the setlist on repeat until i was sick of the sound of it so that i knew i was very familiar with all songs and just before we ere due to go on i had a couple of minutes to myself where i went backstage with my headphones and just had another listen to my songs and any songs that i knew helped grow my confidence and self esteem
