    The pharynx is a passageway for the oxygen that starts from the base of our skull to the cervical vertebra . It acts both the respiratory and digestive systems by receiving air from the nasal cavity as well as air, food, and water from the oral cavity .

Larynx

To protect the lower respiratory tract from aspiration food into trachea while breathing.

Bronchus

   To carry air to and from your lungs.

Nasal Cavity

   To humidify and warm the inspired air.

Lung
