It acts both the respiratory and digestive systems by receiving air from the nasal cavity as well as air, food, and water from the oral cavity .<br><br>Larynx<br><br>  To protect the lower respiratory tract from aspiration food into trachea while breathing.<br><br>Trachea<br>&nbsp;<br>  To carry air in and out of your lungs.<br><br>Bronchus<br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;To carry air to and from your lungs.<br><br>Nasal Cavity<br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;To humidify and warm the inspired air.<br><br>Lung<br><br>&nbsp; &nbsp;Allow oxygen in the air to be taken into the body, while&nbsp; also letting the body get rid of carbon dioxide in the air breathed out.</div>]]></description>
