         <description><![CDATA[<div>A writer named Aesop, living in ancient Greece wrote made up fictional stores that taught lessons and gave advice.  The characters were normally talking animals.   One example is "The Tortoise And The Hare."  Aesop's Fables are still used today in the modern world today and some examples are "The Ant and The Grasshopper".</div>]]></description>

It was a blend of Greek, Syrian, Persian, Egyptian, and many more. Even though it isn't called Hellenistic Culture, the United States had many cultures blended in its roots with so many people coming from all different places in the world.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In ancient Greek times, the first Democracy was Athens.  In Athens all free men were eligible to participate in assemblies and juries. Back then their democracy was a direct democracy because votes and opinions were made face to face by the people. In modern times in the United States we still use a democracy but ours is a representative democracy. A representative democracy uses representatives to make decisions for the people.  </div>]]></description>

Today in modern times theaters show plays, operas, musicals, and many more.  Now all genders are allowed to preform in plays.</div>]]></description>
