         <description><![CDATA[<div>- <strong><em>Black holes are some of the strangest and most fascinating objects in outer space. They're extremely dense, with such strong gravitational attraction that even light cannot escape their grasp if it comes near enough. <br>- Stellar black holes form when the center of a very massive star collapses in upon itself. This collapse also causes a supernova, or an exploding star, that blasts part of the star into space. Scientists think supermassive black holes formed at the same time as the galaxy they are in.<br>- Karl Schwarzschild developed the idea for black holes from relativity's equations in 1916, just a year after Einstein published his theory</em></strong>.<strong><em><br></em></strong><strong>- EHT is Event Horizon Telescope.<br>- </strong><strong><em>Albert Einstein first predicted the existence of black holes in 1916, with his </em></strong><a href="https://www.space.com/17661-theory-general-relativity.html"><strong><em>general theory of relativity</em></strong></a><strong><em>.<br>- </em></strong><strong>Cygnus X-1, M87, Centaurus A<br>- A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing—no particles or even electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from it. The Sun would need to be about 20 times more massive to end its life as a black hole. ... In some 6 billion years it will end up as a white dwarf — a small, dense remnant of a star that glows from leftover heat.<br>- Black holes do not exist where space and time do not exist, says the new theory. The quintessential feature of a black hole is its "point of no return," or what is more technically called its event horizon.<br>- Regardless of the explanation, we do know that it is highly unlikely that anyone entering a black hole would survive.
