He understands why they do it... they are uncomfortable with the way that he looks, and he can understand why, I mean he said sometimes he thinks that he looks creepy himself. He also said that he never noticed he eats weird until a kid mentioned it, but now he knows he eats weird, and understands why the other kids thinks it's weird. That's not mad. He just wishes they didn't have to do something like that, in my opinion. He wants it to stop, and to end, which is understandable. But just because you want something to stop doesn't mean that you are mad, or frustrated about it. If anyone thinks they disagree, that is exactly why I KNOW he isn't mad. Because he said so himself, he isn't! He understands, he isn't mad.
