Dom
- lab! facilitated workshops
- who are your stakeholders?
- this is not learning
- you need to do something and produce something!
- stakeholder sponsorship - senior leader - set expectations, create desire for outputs
- how can we have impact and what problems are we trying to solve
- meet - agree problems - explore how they can solve problems - follow through for customers
- uplevel return on investment
- blurry line beween enablement and learning

Tony
- what even is enablement?
- I'm not really sure!
- Action learning sets - modular content and action learning sets - small groups talking about the content
- I'm trying to create playbooks for every type of learning experience - creating something that is easy to grab and easy to run with
- I'm an ENABLEMENT BUSINESS !!!
- I'm working with a client building a new manager program. Feedback recently was that rather than having time doing 'teaching', can we focus on peer aspect

Niamh
- me too! I didnt know what it was
- interesting, that's a really good example of what L&D is in a 'cushy' organisation like Google!
- meta learning here! at teh end of the day, what is the point of what we do if it's not to enable people to do their jobs!
- will hybrid and virtual make it easier for people to hide out though?!

Carol
- Surely everything we do 'should' be in the enablement space
- When I was at IMI, the mission was around management but was not fit for purpsose! So what we came up with was - equipping leaders to build the future
- talked at length about 'equip' versus enable, versus inspire
- equip - that people walk away with tangible assets (models, techniques, frameworks)
- all about learning transfer - even a 20 sec convo with the line manager can make a difference
- IMI - learning transfer accelerators
- transfer mechanisms are key! (coaching, follow up, in between, post session)
- Content is becoming less important than the how
